Meet Luc
Luc is a travel creator and entrepreneur from the Netherlands who has been travelling the world for the past four years. What started as a personal decision to step away from the traditional path and explore the world has grown into a bigger mission: inspiring others to live with more freedom, courage and intention.
Through his platform @reizenmetluc, Luc shares travel videos that help people explore the world with practical tips and insights. At the same time, he shows both the beauty and the reality of the places he visits.
What makes his content different is that he openly shares not only the highlights of travel, but also his personal struggles and challenges. By being honest about both the external journey and the internal one, he hopes to help people feel less alone and more inspired to live a life that truly fits them.
Luc is also the co-founder of GroupAway, a travel platform that organises meaningful group adventures designed to push people beyond their comfort zones, create strong connections and leave a lasting impact.

By sharing these stories, I hope to create awareness and inspire others to care and take action. For people who cannot physically be there, this is a way to still make a real difference.
It is also important to me that every euro raised through these stories goes directly to the people who need it. Transparency and real impact matter.

Why This Mission Matters to Me
Since I started travelling, I have seen poverty with my own eyes. I have met people living in situations that many of us in the West rarely think about, and often do not even realise exist. Those experiences have stayed with me.
I believe that if you are in a position to help, even in a small way, you should. Help does not always have to mean money. Sometimes it means showing up, giving your time, or using your voice to bring attention to something that matters.
For me, sharing these stories and bringing awareness to these realities is one of the ways I can contribute.
